Holiday at GIIAS 2018
I want to share the story of a holiday experience at a otomotive motorshow on August 6, 2018 at BSD City. That time we were very curious about the new car being launched. because at that time a lot of new cars were launched, it was very exciting to see something new car and the latest automotive technology.Lots of new cars there at that time. the center of attention there is Suzuki Jimmy, because Suzuki launched its newest generation at that time. Very crowded the booth was surrounded by people who were curious about the presence of the car
But for us the most important thing from a car show is sales promotion girl or commonly called SPG. Those who take part in this holiday are Aditya Eka Prabowo, Heri Mahendra, Aqira Kelana, Sonny Octita, Aditya Fadhil and me. Somehow they were happy to see the sales promotion girl rather than the new car, unlike them, I really enjoyed seeing the latest cars and expensive cars.
When we arrived there, we immediately bought tickets for six people. After buying the ticket we entered and were greeted by the mall guard. In the first building we go to BMW booth and saw a lot BMW cars. In my mind "Damn dude, this car so cool" there we are very cool in the presence of strange cars. There is a car that makes us interested, that is BMW i8. Because this car is all electric based.
Out of the Mercedes Benz booth we went to the booth of big cars like buses and trucks. there is something that makes us interested, namely truck cars for mine operations. very large and very strange to see the truck because we have never seen a truck like that.
At the same time we went around looking at large vehicles, meanwhile Aqira wanted to test drive the motorbike outside the room. Aqira tried to invite us but we did not want to because we were not interested. For me, Im not really excited to test drive because I’m not good to drive a big bike and Aqira either because he think we cant always to try this everyday.
Next we visit the commercial car booth. this is where we see many new model cars like New Honda Brio, New DFSK car brand, Wuling cars, Suzuki Jimmy, Mitsubishi Xpander, new model of Toyota yaris, Suzuki ignis, All new daihatsu sirion, Toyota C-HR Hybrid, and many more. It was very crowded, so we couldn't try to get into the car.
Unaware that it was already 2 o'clock in the afternoon, we ate outside the building. the food menu is quite expensive, we try to find a cheap food menu there. The food arrived, next we talked about the cars. We talked a lot, but I can't tell you here.
After we finished eating we continued back into the building to continue seeing something new. It turns out that there is also a legendary sports car named Bugatti Veyron, not many sports cars there so we just look at accessories for vehicles
We walk around there for about 3 hour and after that we plan back to home, neither my friends still take a selfie and watch some SPG there. After seeing everything we walked to the bus stop. we waited for the bus with a long route to the station because there was a bus having a collision with a motorcycle. finally the waiting bus can come and we head to the station.
